Senior Data & AI Consultant (Hybrid, Switzerland)
Advise industrial clients on data strategy, governance, MLOps, analytics, and machine learning adoption. Lead consulting engagements from business development through implementation while helping expand Unit8’s data and AI practice.
Description
- Assess clients’ data and machine learning maturity, identify high-value use cases, and define practical implementation roadmaps
- Clarify clients’ data challenges alongside their technology and business priorities
- Partner with data scientists, data engineers, and IT architects to develop data solutions and machine learning applications
- Advise clients on data governance, model governance, MLOps, and analytics centers of excellence
- Develop growth strategies and new data and AI consulting offerings with the Head of Data & AI Consulting
- Support business development through industry conferences, workshops, and client sales meetings
- Contribute to white papers and thought leadership covering data science and AI
- Manage the full consulting lifecycle from business development and project delivery to client relationship development
- Help expand and scale the consulting practice
Requirements
- Bring 5–10 years of experience in a leading management consultancy spanning business and technology, or comparable corporate experience
- Advise clients on advanced analytics, machine learning, data platforms, and cloud technologies
- Identify and prioritize business challenges, then develop innovative and relevant solutions
- Build durable relationships with clients and colleagues
- Hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in IT, computer science, engineering, business, mathematics, or a natural science
- Be fluent in English and German
- Submit application materials exclusively in English
