Description

  • Serve as the CoreMedia squad’s technical lead and primary contact for client architects, product owners and other stakeholders.
  • Own the architecture and design of CoreMedia Content Cloud solutions with emphasis on scalability, performance, security and maintainability.
  • Contribute directly to complex development work involving custom content types, Studio extensions, Blueprint customisation, templates and Spring-based back-end components.
  • Lead code reviews while upholding engineering practices, automated testing, quality gates and technical documentation.
  • Design and protect CoreMedia integrations with e-commerce, PIM, DAM, search, personalisation, CDN and other third-party platforms through APIs.
  • Convert business and functional needs into technical solutions and stories, supporting estimation, backlog refinement and sprint planning.
  • Lead CI/CD practices, environment management, deployments, release preparation and production support, including incident investigation and performance optimisation.
  • Control technical debt, CoreMedia upgrades and Blueprint evolution while identifying technical risks and dependencies early.
  • Develop team capability through coaching, mentoring, knowledge sharing, onboarding and continuous improvement.
  • Participate in Agile Scrum and SAFe delivery, including ceremonies, PI Planning and cross-team dependency management.
  • Provide clear reporting on technical progress, risks and quality through Jira and Confluence.

Requirements

  • At least seven years of Java/JEE development experience, including three or more years working with CoreMedia Content Cloud, CMS, Studio, CAE, Headless Server or Blueprint.
  • Advanced knowledge of Java, Spring or Spring Boot, Maven, Freemarker/JSP templating, and JavaScript or TypeScript.
  • Demonstrated ability to design REST and GraphQL APIs and headless or hybrid CMS architectures.
  • Previous Tech Lead or Lead Developer experience covering technical decisions, architecture, code review and mentoring.
  • Experience connecting CMS platforms with e-commerce, PIM, DAM and search systems in complex enterprise environments.
  • Working knowledge of Git, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes and at least one cloud platform: AWS, Azure or GCP.
  • Understanding of performance, caching, security, SEO and accessibility for large-scale web platforms.
  • Experience delivering in Agile Scrum or SAFe teams using Jira and Confluence.
  • Strong communication skills for collaboration with engineering teams, business stakeholders and clients across onsite and distributed settings.
  • Fluent English at C2 level.
