Senior Cloud Solutions Architect - ASRC Federal - Remote

Design scalable cloud architectures for DHS programs at ASRC Federal. Lead solution design across Microsoft, ServiceNow, Drupal, Azure, and Power Platform environments.

Description

  • Manage multiple customer solution design initiatives concurrently
  • Perform business and technical discovery with customers
  • Create innovative solutions, architectures, and use cases aligned with customer objectives
  • Deliver well-founded engagement recommendations while identifying dependencies and capability gaps
  • Present solution proposals to senior government officials
  • Advance team knowledge, methods, and the library of solution design blueprints
  • Lead solution design across DHS platforms, including Microsoft, ServiceNow, modern frameworks, and Drupal
  • Create target-state and reference architectures
  • Build solutions for compliance, scalability, and reuse
  • Establish interface, quality assurance, performance, and cost-benefit standards for information systems
  • Evaluate available technologies and advise on their appropriate application
  • Guide projects through the full lifecycle from concept to deployment
  • Work with diverse stakeholders to determine the optimal solution
  • Support application analysis, architecture, engineering, development, maintenance, and operations for the DHS program

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent professional experience
  • At least 8 years of combined experience designing, analyzing, and implementing information systems architectures
  • At least 7 years of software development experience
  • Required Microsoft certification and Azure Cloud expertise
  • ServiceNow Architect certification is preferred
  • Must be a US citizen
  • Ability to complete a government-issued background investigation successfully
  • Ability to obtain a Public Trust
  • Previous Public Trust or security clearance is preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to explain complex technical and programmatic subjects clearly to varied stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills
  • Ability to convert ambiguous requirements into actionable plans
  • Ability to motivate and direct technical teams
  • Ability to foster collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement
  • Experience in a leading technical consulting or software development environment
  • Ability to independently apply engineering practices across the planning, design, analysis, coding, testing, rollout, and support of information systems architectures
