Description
- Drive cloud modernization and transformation programs for complex enterprise environments
- Connect business priorities, IT strategy, enterprise architecture, and execution
- Design target-state hybrid and multi-cloud architectures spanning applications, data, infrastructure, security, and integration
- Direct legacy modernization through rehosting, replatforming, refactoring, rearchitecting, and cloud-native adoption
- Define architecture principles, standards, and governance guardrails
- Lead cloud strategy and modernization assessments
- Evaluate current-state architecture and organizational cloud readiness
- Build application rationalization, migration, and modernization roadmaps
- Develop business cases supported by ROI and TCO analysis
- Advise on cloud operating models, governance, platform teams, and product-led delivery
- Guide FinOps practices and cloud economics
- Address regulatory, security, and risk requirements
- Convert architectural direction into epics, backlogs, and delivery plans
- Resolve complex architecture and transformation issues
- Oversee architecture throughout the delivery lifecycle
- Escalate architectural risks, trade-offs, and decisions when needed
- Develop trusted partnerships with CXOs, CIOs, CTOs, chief architects, and senior business leaders
- Facilitate executive workshops, architecture reviews, and transformation planning sessions
- Explain complex architectural topics in clear, business-focused language
- Create cloud architecture frameworks, reference architectures, modernization accelerators, reusable assets, playbooks, and points of view
- Mentor architects and senior consultants
- Represent Kyndryl across cloud partner ecosystems and industry forums
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or a related discipline
- At least 10 years of experience in enterprise IT, cloud consulting, or large-scale transformation programs
- Background as an enterprise architect, lead cloud architect, or cloud transformation lead
- Advanced cloud architecture expertise across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform
- Strong command of enterprise architecture frameworks and patterns
- Strong command of cloud migration and modernization strategies
- Expertise working across hybrid and multi-cloud environments
- Record of leading complex transformation programs from strategy through execution
- Strong executive communication, facilitation, and influencing capabilities
- Professional English proficiency required
- Fluency in French required
- Experience with a large global systems integrator or top-tier consulting firm preferred
- Preferred certifications include AWS, Azure, or GCP Architect; TOGAF or an equivalent enterprise architecture framework; and FinOps Practitioner
- Experience with platform engineering and product operating models
- Experience with DevSecOps and cloud-native architectures
- Experience in regulated sectors such as financial services, public sector, healthcare, or telecommunications
- Exposure to organizational change management and IT operating model transformation
