Senior Business Intelligence Analyst - Texas Remote

Senior Business Intelligence Analyst role focused on healthcare data, dashboard development, SQL optimization, and scalable analytics solutions at Gainwell Technologies. Translate stakeholder needs into metrics, efficient data workflows, and actionable insights.

Description

  • Define business metrics and gather requirements with colleagues and stakeholders to support scalable insights
  • Design and architect data pipelines
  • Create and deliver dashboards for stakeholders
  • Maintain and enhance data infrastructure and dashboards as business requirements evolve
  • Publish and maintain clear documentation that supports users at scale
  • Collect feedback and identify opportunities to improve data products and processes
  • Increase data efficiency by streamlining workflows
  • Implement infrastructure updates, optimize SQL queries and data workflows, and reduce data landing time
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to identify data needs and gaps and agree on solutions
  • Manage projects from start to finish while providing strategic thought partnership to the team

Requirements

  • At least five years of experience in data analytics
  • At least five years of experience writing SQL
  • Experience with Python or other data scripting languages
  • Experience using business intelligence visualization tools such as Cognos, Tableau, Power BI, or Power Automate
  • Experience querying, analyzing, and working with data languages and platforms across large, diverse datasets
  • At least four years of experience applying process management and improvement methodologies, including Agile, Lean, or Six Sigma
  • At least three years of experience developing and working in cloud environments, preferably AWS or Azure
  • Video cameras are required for all interviews and throughout the first week of orientation
