Description

Shape technical direction through project planning, prioritization, and delivery leadership
Design and develop large-scale, highly available systems from end to end
Create resilient APIs and data models for microservice and event-driven architectures
Partner with Product, Analytics, Design, Legal, and Accounting on card loan attribution and lifecycle strategy
Investigate and resolve complex technical problems
Improve existing code and deliver reliable, scalable solutions
Support junior engineers through mentorship, lead technical discussions and design reviews, and promote engineering best practices in code reviews

Requirements

At least five years of software development or engineering experience
Strong knowledge of system design and software architecture
Leadership skills that help teams grow and encourage continuous learning
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Proficiency in Python, Kotlin, or a comparable modern programming language
Professional experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes
Working knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases
Familiarity with web frameworks and REST API development
Equivalent practical experience or a bachelor’s degree in a related field
