Senior Azure DevOps Engineer Poland Onsite

Description

  • Shape hybrid cloud architectures and platform roadmaps.
  • Deliver architectural guidance and technical leadership for Azure platforms.
  • Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code solutions.
  • Automate provisioning and configuration for Azure IaaS and PaaS services.
  • Administer source repositories and CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps.
  • Support AKS implementation and development on Azure Local.
  • Evaluate and support application and database migrations to Azure environments.
  • Develop migration, testing, and rollback strategies.
  • Provide L3 support, troubleshoot issues, and perform root cause analysis for critical incidents.
  • Establish security, operational, monitoring, and disaster recovery concepts.
  • Produce technical, operational, and security documentation.
  • Lead knowledge-transfer sessions and technical handovers.

Requirements

  • Several years of experience in cloud architecture, platform engineering, cloud infrastructure, or hybrid cloud environments.
  • Advanced hands-on experience with Azure Public Cloud, Azure Stack Hub, and Azure Local.
  • Strong knowledge of Azure services such as App Service, WebJobs, Key Vault, Storage Accounts, and Azure SQL.
  • Experience creating Infrastructure as Code and automation with PowerShell and ARM Templates.
  • Practical experience using Azure DevOps Repositories and Pipelines.
  • Experience designing, implementing, and operating Azure IaaS and PaaS environments.
  • Demonstrated experience with cloud migration assessments, planning, testing, and rollback strategies.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
  • Sound understanding of cloud security, compliance, and operational requirements.
  • Professional proficiency in German and English.
  • Experience with AKS, especially AKS on Azure Local.
  • Knowledge of Volkswagen Financial Services infrastructure and architecture.
  • Experience with .NET applications and multi-tier architectures.
  • Experience developing hybrid cloud modernization and migration strategies.
  • Comfort using AI-powered tools in daily work.
  • Microsoft Azure certifications are desirable, including Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure Administrator Associate, DevOps Engineer Expert, or Azure Hybrid Cloud certifications.
