Senior Analytics Engineer, Supply Data Solutions – Germany Remote

Description
- Own supply data and deliver reliable, analysis-ready datasets
- Collaborate with Data Scientists, Analysts, and Supply stakeholders
- Unify overlapping data needs into reusable data mart tables
- Streamline data transformations for downstream teams
- Develop and monitor Python and GCP pipelines
- Document schemas, lineage, and data contracts
- Oversee IAM roles, data-access boundaries, cost monitoring, performance tuning, and data validity checks
- Mentor junior analysts and strengthen SQL capabilities across the Supply organization
Requirements
- At least 3 years of professional experience in analytics engineering or a similar field
- Advanced SQL proficiency, including complex CTEs, window functions, and query optimization
- Strong Python skills for ETL and orchestration
- Practical experience with GCP, BigQuery, Git, and CI/CD
- Ability to assess complex systems and develop structured improvement plans
- Proactive ownership of platform health, monitoring, governance, and reliability
- Ability to balance long-term system architecture with immediate business value
- Experience collaborating across teams to establish data contracts and align stakeholders
- Experience with dbt or Dagster is a plus
- Familiarity with AWS Batch, Lambda, and Step Functions is a plus
- Supply chain or logistics experience is a plus
- Exposure to data cataloging and data observability platforms is a plus
