Senior Analytics Engineer — Lithuania (Remote)

Lead dbt-based analytics engineering for a digital health platform, building trusted data models across commercial, clinical, marketing, and patient outcomes domains. Help define data standards and advance AI-enabled analytics.

Description

  • Build and maintain scalable, thoroughly tested dbt models that support analytics across commercial, marketing, health outcomes, and clinical operations.
  • Set technical standards for data modelling, testing, documentation, and code quality as a senior analytics engineering contributor.
  • Own analytical projects from requirements definition through delivery, dependency management, risk identification, and stakeholder updates.
  • Coach data scientists and analysts in data modelling while promoting code review, sound engineering practices, and continuous development.
  • Work with clinical, commercial, and product teams to convert complex business needs into reliable, well-documented data models.
  • Assess and promote AI-enabled analytics tools while contributing to Numan’s technology strategy.
  • Strengthen data quality, reliability, and governance throughout the transformation layer, monitoring usage and addressing issues proactively.
  • Report to the Head of Data Engineering and work closely with data scientists, analysts, and stakeholders across the organisation.

Requirements

  • At least 3–5 years of experience in analytics engineering, data engineering, or business intelligence.
  • Demonstrated ownership of end-to-end data model design across multiple business areas, ideally including at least two of commercial, marketing, health outcomes, or clinical and operational analytics.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain complex technical subjects to non-technical audiences.
  • Experience establishing technical standards and producing high-quality work within a small, high-performing data team.
  • A self-directed, pragmatic approach focused on high-impact solutions rather than unnecessary complexity.
  • Strong interest in AI and emerging analytics technologies.
  • Expert SQL skills, including window functions, CTEs, advanced aggregations, and optimisation for cloud data warehouses.
  • Advanced dbt experience covering models, macros, tests, packages, documentation, exposures, and CI/CD.
