Senior Accounting Analyst, Data Analytics, Sicredi, Hybrid Porto Alegre

Serve as Sicredi’s accounting data specialist, using SQL, Databricks, and dashboards to generate insights. Support decisions and improvements across accounting data and processes.

Description

  • Maintain the quality and reliability of accounting data while producing actionable business insights.
  • Review general ledger accounts, investigate inconsistencies, and support corrective actions.
  • Perform data and process diagnostics to investigate issues and inform management decisions.
  • Query SQL and Databricks databases to extract and analyze relevant information.
  • Create dashboards and analytical views for internal team monitoring.
  • Help prepare materials, reports, and data narratives for executive forums.
  • Track management-level operational indicators and OKRs, anticipate variances, and propose focused analyses.
  • Convert business needs into structured requests for the Data Team.
  • Improve indicators, metrics, and monitoring methods.
  • Maintain aligned, consistent, and clear analyses as the accounting management team’s data focal point.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and apply data and automation from a business perspective.
  • Connect accounting business requirements with data analysis.
  • Help leaders and teams generate insights, diagnose variances, and make informed decisions.
  • Partner with the management innovation agent to track the Superintendence’s accounting data strategy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related discipline.
  • Experience with accounting processes and financial information analysis.
  • Strong analytical ability, including interpreting data and producing actionable insights.
  • Working knowledge of SQL and Databricks for writing queries and conducting data analysis.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI.
  • A critical approach to processes and performance indicators.
  • Proactive, solution-oriented working style.
  • Black or Brown candidates are preferred.
