Description

  • Contribute to monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements prepared under HGB requirements
  • Maintain consistently high standards for financial reporting quality
  • Independently handle daily accounts receivable, accounts payable, and fixed asset accounting
  • Reconcile general ledger accounts on a regular basis
  • Review incoming invoices each day
  • Assess accounting items and prepare the related payment runs
  • Own intercompany transactions and reconciliation activities
  • Assist with VAT advance returns, business statistics, reports, and analyses
  • Partner with other departments on cross-functional projects and process improvements
  • Assist external auditors with the preparation and audit of annual financial statements
  • Compile and provide the documentation requested by external auditors

Requirements

  • Completed commercial vocational training or a finance, accounting, or bookkeeping degree
  • Several years of substantial experience in financial accounting
  • Practical experience with daily accounting activities and financial statement preparation
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills and efficient use of digital applications
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Business Central and Copilot is advantageous
  • Current, thorough knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping practices
  • Business-fluent German language skills
  • Confident English communication skills
  • A collaborative, communicative, precise, accountable, independent, and solution-focused approach to work
