Security Hardware Integration Engineer

Integrate hardware security IP and develop RTL for Intel AI data center SoCs. Define platform security architecture with teams spanning silicon, firmware, and platforms.

Description

  • Develop hardware for AI workloads.
  • Integrate internal and third-party security IP into SoCs, writing RTL and integration code to connect the components.
  • Develop RTL for security units, glue logic, fuse and OTP interfaces, and AXI, AHB, and NoC connections.
  • Manage clocking, resets, power domains, and clock-domain crossings.
  • Build integration testbenches and perform lint, CDC, and synthesis-readiness checks.
  • Assist with design verification of embedded security IP.
  • Design platform Root of Trust, secure boot, attestation, and confidential computing across the server fleet.
  • Assess threats to silicon, firmware, BMC, and the supply chain, then define hardware protections against physical and side-channel attacks.
  • Advance secure key management, debug lockdown, fuse provisioning, and cryptographic offload to support tenant isolation at scale.
  • Work with architecture, design verification, physical design, firmware, and platform teams throughout development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science, or a related discipline.
  • At least five years of experience in RTL development, SoC design, or hardware security integration.
  • Proficiency in Verilog or SystemVerilog RTL, IP integration, AXI/AHB/NoC protocols, and lint, CDC, synthesis, and design verification workflows.
  • Expertise in Roots of Trust, trusted execution environments, secure boot and firmware, cryptographic IP, and side-channel protections.
  • Experience with fuse or OTP provisioning, supply-chain security, or multi-tenant cloud isolation is an advantage.

Benefits

  • Hybrid work arrangement, with time split between the assigned Intel site and off-site work.
