SAP Security and Compliance Expert, Data Platforms – Roche, Warsaw Hybrid
Lead SAP data-platform security, compliance, governance, and audit activities for Roche in a hybrid Warsaw role. Support access controls, regulatory readiness, data privacy, and automation across global healthcare technology.
Description
- Manage security, authorization, and compliance standards across SAP BW 7.5 HANA, SAP BW/4HANA, and SAP Datasphere
- Advance cloud security and compliance capabilities for SAP Datasphere
- Track GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, SOX, ISO 27001, SOC 2, and NIST requirements
- Develop and maintain internal policies and data-governance frameworks
- Serve as Deputy System Owner and Control Owner for ICFR, GxP, and related controls
- Direct recurring segregation-of-duties monitoring through GRC dashboards and coordinate remediation
- Assess application errors and approve monitoring outcomes in tools such as ICAt
- Perform quarterly reviews of Critical Access, GRC FireFighter roles, and HANA database users
- Lead ICFR IT-audit support and act as the main auditor contact during peak audit periods
- Evaluate and implement solutions, tools, and IT standards for governance, validation, and automation
- Complete annual updates to the System Risk Assessment and Data Classification
- Run innovation initiatives that improve Data Product processes through automation
- Coordinate with system teams and stakeholders on ownership and data-privacy awareness
- Onboard and train new colleagues on ICFR control activities
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or engineering
- At least five years of post-secondary experience in SAP security
- Strong knowledge of compliance principles
- Demonstrated experience delivering IT security, authorization, and compliance projects
- Experience serving as a subject-matter expert in ICFR, GxP, and GRC environments
- Working knowledge of SAP BW, HANA Studio, SAP BI, and SAP Datasphere
- Awareness of emerging SAP Analytics and artificial intelligence trends
- Strong knowledge of segregation of duties, Critical Access, access controls, and pharmaceutical-industry practices, including SAP audit guidance
- Experience with Data Products and data-governance principles and practices
- Experience with IT system validation and System Risk Assessments, including data-privacy requirements
- Ability to perform root-cause analysis, solve complex system-process issues, and complete remediation
- Ability to manage an external workforce or squad in an Agile SAFe/Scrum environment
- Professional proficiency in English
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to learn new technologies and compliance frameworks quickly
