Sales Order Processor (Contract) – Hybrid, UK

Process customer orders for SRT Marine Systems’ maritime safety and communications products. Coordinate ERP administration, logistics, documentation, delivery updates, and customer queries.

Description

  • Process customer orders accurately in the ERP or MRP system
  • Coordinate with production, warehousing, purchasing, and logistics teams on stock and lead times
  • Provide customers with order and delivery updates
  • Resolve customer queries and monitor order progress
  • Prepare works orders, pick lists, and dispatch documentation
  • Maintain accurate documentation in line with company procedures
  • Support stock control and other departmental administration
  • Collaborate with finance, logistics, warehouse, sales, customers, and dealers across the Americas and EMEA

Requirements

  • Experience in sales order processing, order administration, sales support, internal account management, or a similar position
  • Familiarity with global time zones and currencies; experience with dollars, euros, and sterling is beneficial
  • Experience using ERP or MRP systems and Microsoft packages
  • Strong attention to detail, administration, and organisational skills
  • Experience in engineering, manufacturing, telecommunications, or logistics is highly beneficial
  • Excellent written and spoken English
  • Commercial awareness and a customer-focused approach
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to manage an independent workload
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced environment
  • Available for a contract covering a colleague’s long-term absence
