Description

  • Provide original footage that you own or that is openly licensed
  • Write realistic post-production editing briefs
  • Build complete editing tasks using your own software
  • Edit footage and add defects or distractors when a task requires them
  • Create reference edits for judging task results
  • Write specific, verifiable grading criteria supported by editorial reasoning
  • Blind-solve editing tasks prepared by other editors
  • Document solutions in clear, step-by-step instructions
  • Answer questions about footage availability, ownership, and participant consent
  • Support AI agent training and evaluation and contribute to improving AI systems

Requirements

  • At least five years of professional editing experience in film and television, commercials, broadcast news, or creator and social media production
  • Ability to manage deliverables from start to finish
  • Proficiency with at least one professional editing application: Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or Avid Media Composer
  • Basic color correction and audio cleanup skills
  • Familiarity with delivery specifications such as resolution, frame rate, codecs, audio channel layouts, and frame-accurate cuts
  • Provide a resume and a link to a reel or portfolio
  • Complete a brief AI interview about your editing experience
  • Must not reside in California
  • Must not require H-1B or STEM OPT support
  • Able to work as an independent contractor
  • Footage provided must be fully owned by the applicant or openly licensed
  • People shown in footage owned by the applicant must sign an appearance release when applicable
