Remote Interior Design Specialist - Philippines

Description
- Specify furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FFE) according to project scope, budget, and design intent
- Review architectural space plans and support furniture layout development
- Prepare concept boards, design presentations, and complete design packages for client review
- Research and source commercial furniture through approved manufacturers and preferred vendors
- Verify that FFE selections meet functional, durability, and accessibility needs for senior living environments
- Convert executive project briefs into practical furniture recommendations with the VP of Design
- Maintain FFE specifications, product data sheets, and past project records in the firm’s design management platform
- Arrange flights, hotels, rental cars, and site visit itineraries during lighter design periods
- Schedule calendars, send meeting invitations, and provide administrative support to the executive design team
Requirements
- Hands-on experience in an interior design team, home staging business, residential design firm, or multifamily design setting
- Ability to read 2D space plans and produce detailed FFE specifications and furniture callouts
- A formal design or architecture degree is not required; practical design experience, sound judgment, and a strong visual eye are valued
- Experience sourcing furniture within defined project budgets and manufacturer requirements
- Working proficiency with Microsoft Excel for spec sheets, pricing schedules, and administrative tracking
- Ability to quickly learn digital design, concept board, and project management tools
- Strong attention to detail, a humble approach, and effective verbal and written communication
