Remote Healthcare Category Manager

Lead healthcare procurement strategy remotely through sourcing, contract negotiations, supplier management, compliance, and cross-functional collaboration at TEKsystems.

Description

  • Draft, review, redline, negotiate, execute, and maintain contracts for supplies and purchased services
  • Verify that agreements meet organizational, regulatory, and legal requirements
  • Lead sourcing and procurement activities, including supplier assessments, pricing negotiations, renewals, and competitive bids
  • Develop and maintain productive relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders
  • Coordinate contract review and approval with Legal, Finance, Information Systems, Privacy, Supply Chain, and other business partners
  • Track contracts in Workday Strategic Sourcing and related contract management systems
  • Keep contract documentation and repository records complete and accurate
  • Prepare updates and reports on sourcing, negotiations, and contract activities
  • Support value analysis, supplier diversity, and process improvement initiatives
  • Contribute to additional Supply Chain projects and departmental priorities

Requirements

  • At least three years of experience in healthcare supply chain, procurement, strategic sourcing, or contract management
  • Experience negotiating pricing agreements, managing suppliers, and leading bid or RFP processes
  • Demonstrated ability to draft, review, redline, and negotiate contract terms and conditions
  • Experience confirming compliance with organizational policies, regulatory requirements, and legal standards
  • Strong project management and contract administration capabilities across multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Experience using Workday Strategic Sourcing or comparable contract management software
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with Legal, Finance, IT, Supply Chain, and leadership teams
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent organization and attention to detail
  • Experience supporting healthcare organizations, health systems, hospitals, or other regulated environments
  • Familiarity with value analysis methods and supplier performance assessment
  • Experience supporting supplier diversity programs
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting while balancing competing priorities
