Description

  • Prepare print-ready layouts for notebooks, composition books, legal pads, and specialty paper products.
  • Use PDF references to build new workbook content in Adobe Illustrator.
  • Design collegiate notebooks, portfolios, journals, and blue books within an order-based workflow.
  • Produce web images to meet customer specifications.
  • Review each file for accuracy, completeness, and production readiness before submission.
  • Submit artwork approval requests to licensing agencies while following their rules and regulations.
  • Coordinate collegiate licensing submissions with accuracy.
  • Support customers and sales representatives with custom collegiate orders.
  • Create brochures and flyers for marketing initiatives.
  • Contribute to the annual product catalog.
  • Provide graphic design support to other departments.
  • Help maintain the cloud-based digital asset management platform.
  • Organize artwork files using version-control practices and established naming conventions.
  • Complete all application stages, including prequalification questions, a video introduction, a role-specific assessment when applicable, recruitment and executive interviews, a client interview, and background or reference checks.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud, including Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat, and InDesign; this is required.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in production and licensing artwork workflows.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and meet strict deadlines without errors.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel for file management and order processing.
  • Comfort communicating and collaborating effectively in a virtual work environment.
  • Self-directed, organized, and aligned with a production mindset that values accuracy over speed.
  • Current resume.
  • Portfolio link featuring production design work such as print-ready files, layouts, or collegiate, packaging, and manufacturing-related examples.
  • A one- to two-minute Loom video introducing yourself, outlining your production design experience, and describing your quality-control process.
  • Portfolio and Loom video are both required to progress to the next hiring stage.
