Remote Data Specialist in Lithuania
Remote Data Specialist role focused on BigQuery, dbt, and Dataform models for global health and wellness brands. Maintain dependable marketing data pipelines, quality controls, and Looker Studio reporting.
Description
- Develop and maintain warehouse models with BigQuery, Dataform, and dbt
- Author and review models, commit updates, and manage releases
- Maintain marketing and sales data pipelines, including platform connectors
- Verify that new advertising accounts and products are correctly loaded into the warehouse
- Manage product and brand mappings, resolving mismatches at their source
- Trace advertising-platform discrepancies through raw tables, transformed models, and reports
- Create and maintain Looker Studio reports, data sources, calculated fields, and access settings
- Implement data quality checks and alerts
- Reconcile reported figures with external systems and partners
- Document definitions for metrics including active subscription, active customer, and churn
- Support Media Buying, Finance, and Operations inquiries with relevant queries
- Complete other assigned responsibilities
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Analytics, Data Science, or a related discipline
- Advanced SQL skills, including joins and window functions
- Ability to troubleshoot queries and investigate discrepancies in results
- Practical experience with cloud data warehouses, preferably BigQuery
- Working knowledge of dbt and Dataform, including Git-based workflows
- Understanding of data modeling, including dimensional modeling and consistent, reusable metric definitions
- Experience with BI tools such as Looker Studio or Power BI
- Experience with marketing or e-commerce data is a strong advantage
- Knowledge of data quality checks and alerting is a strong advantage
- Exceptional attention to detail and persistence when tracing figures to their source
- Ability to explain findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders
- Excellent written and spoken English
