Remote CFD Engineer and AI Trainer
Use CFD expertise to train and assess AI agents on fluid simulation tasks, creating reference solutions and Python-based result checks. The role is part-time and remote for candidates in Japan.
Description
- Assess AI agents on advanced fluid simulation tasks
- Prepare CAD geometry and configure and run simulations
- Develop verified reference solutions
- Create Python checks to assess AI agent results
Requirements
- Degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering, or a related discipline such as energy or oil and gas
- Several years of practical CFD experience in industry or research using OpenFOAM, ANSYS Fluent or CFX, or STAR-CCM+, including meshing
- Strong verification and validation skills, including mesh independence studies and validation against experiments or benchmarks
- Proficiency with Python and GitHub
- English proficiency at B2 level or higher
- Preferred: experience in aerospace, automotive, offshore, or turbomachinery, or with multiphase or particle-laden flows
