Remote Area Sales Director, Wound Care

Lead Acera wound-care sales teams and surgeon relationships as Area Sales Director for Solventum. Drive Restrata adoption across New York, New Jersey, Delaware, Philadelphia, and eastern Pennsylvania.

Description

  • Lead cross-functional teams and collaborate with surgeons and operating-room stakeholders to expand adoption of Restrata® and related products.
  • Create and deliver area business plans that meet revenue goals while controlling expenses and sales-to-expense ratios.
  • Coach and develop a strong sales team through clear communication, field engagement, performance reviews, and professional development.
  • Recruit and build the sales organization, including distributor networks where applicable.
  • Maintain compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and laws governing healthcare-professional interactions.
  • Give senior leaders actionable updates on sales results, market conditions, competitor activity, and field opportunities.
  • Advance the Acera portfolio and evidence-based wound-care technologies within Solventum’s Medical Surgical Division.
  • Travel in the field alongside representatives, customers, and sales professionals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited university plus at least 5 years of medical device, pharmaceutical, or medical field sales experience.
  • High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution plus at least 9 years of medical device, pharmaceutical, or medical field sales experience may substitute for a bachelor’s degree.
  • Previous experience with Value Analysis Committees and/or trial approvals in commercial and federal facilities is required.
  • Current, valid driver’s license.
  • Successful completion of a pre-hire motor vehicle record review.
  • Ongoing eligibility under Solventum’s driver policy and insurance requirements.
  • Legal authorization to work in the country of employment without employment visa sponsorship.
  • Possession of facility-required licenses, vaccinations, and/or other credentials or qualifications may be necessary.
  • Availability for up to 80% field travel, including some weekends and overnight trips.
  • Previous medical device sales experience calling on surgeons and supporting operating-room surgical cases.
  • At least 1 year of formal leadership experience.
  • Ability to independently manage time and priorities in a fast-paced, changing environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities, including people management, conflict resolution, and project coordination.
  • Analytical and organizational skills.
  • Experience developing relationships with physicians and surgical staff.
  • Negotiation, selling, and presentation capabilities.
  • Working proficiency with Microsoft 365 and Concur.
