Remote Application Architect, Payment Integrity — HCSC

HCSC is seeking an Application Architect to design scalable payment integrity and claims solutions for its U.S. healthcare insurance operations. The role leads architecture, integration, and digital transformation initiatives.

Description

  • Advance the Payment Integrity product portfolio
  • Collaborate with Product, Business, Clinical, Operations, and Technology teams
  • Design and deliver scalable enterprise solutions
  • Reduce inaccurate payments and improve claims adjudication
  • Enhance payment integrity capabilities and operational efficiency
  • Define and implement application architecture strategies aligned with business objectives and enterprise roadmaps
  • Lead complex solution design across integrated healthcare platforms
  • Act as a subject matter expert in payment integrity technologies
  • Coordinate seamless integration across applications, databases, and middleware
  • Deliver solutions that support healthcare outcomes and digital transformation goals

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree plus four years of Information Technology experience; or technical certification and/or college coursework plus six years of Information Technology experience; or eight years of Information Technology experience
  • Background in application architecture, solution design, or product architecture
  • Experience with application development platforms and modern programming technologies
  • Experience using cloud computing platforms and services
  • Experience with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile delivery methods
  • Experience with enterprise integration technologies and API-based architecture
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and collaboration abilities
  • Effective communication skills with technical and business stakeholders
  • Sponsorship is unavailable, including for candidates currently on OPT
  • Ability to work remotely from anywhere in the continental United States except California, New York, Alaska, and Hawaii
