Remote Accounting Specialist in Italy
Manage Italian accounting, tax compliance, treasury, and financial reporting remotely for team.blue’s digital services business across Europe.
Description
- Manage the full accounting cycle, including invoice posting, payment processing, and account reconciliations
- Process Italian accounts payable invoices and review the registration of foreign invoices
- Assist with month-end and year-end financial close activities
- Handle tax compliance responsibilities, including VAT returns and tax filings
- Coordinate with external consultants and tax advisers
- Oversee treasury tasks such as cash-flow monitoring, bank-account administration, and payment execution
- Contribute dependable financial data and analysis to budgeting and forecasting
- Assist with group projects involving ERP platforms and other financial tools
- Work with finance colleagues across functions and countries
Requirements
- Previous experience working with Italian companies
- Advanced technical proficiency in Excel
- Professional fluency in English
- At least two years of experience in comparable accounting roles
- Experience with Oracle NetSuite is advantageous
- Experience applying AI tools to finance and accounting workflows is advantageous
- Italian-language proficiency is advantageous
