Regional Operations Manager, Wireless Infrastructure - Alabama and Florida

Lead Vertical Bridge’s wireless tower and rooftop infrastructure operations across Alabama and Florida in a full-time hybrid role. Oversee budgets, tenant collocations, inspections, compliance, vendors, and field projects.

Description

  • Administer repair and maintenance spending for the tower and rooftop asset portfolio
  • Partner with Regional Leasing Managers, tenants, and vendors on leasing, site design, and installation activities
  • Plan and manage projects, work orders, scopes, bids, and coordination among stakeholders
  • Organize and complete project administration, including requisitions, purchase orders, and invoice approvals
  • Assess tenant installation plans and verify collocation applications for accuracy and available capacity
  • Explain notice-to-proceed requirements to tenants and contractors
  • Perform site walks, preliminary design assessments, final inspections, and punch-list reviews
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state requirements for signage, environmental matters, avian stewardship, and local codes
  • Coordinate or perform tower and building inspections to document equipment, power meters, and fiber-optic providers
  • Coordinate or carry out maintenance and repairs involving access roads, fencing, snow removal, and waste removal
  • Use automated reporting tools to achieve daily operational metrics
  • Lead or participate in onsite and virtual meetings to coordinate work and resolve issues
  • Provide operational support throughout the Alabama and Florida territories

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required; a bachelor’s degree is preferred
  • Background in telecommunications, construction, project management, asset management, business analytics, or a related discipline
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and other computer applications
  • Willingness and ability to learn and use internal software systems
  • Experience overseeing capital or operating expense budgets
  • Clear communicator who can build and sustain resilient working relationships
  • Highly organized, able to prioritize varied responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
  • Reliable transportation and access to a personal vehicle for reimbursed mileage use
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively
  • Willingness to travel extensively to sites and meeting locations, including occasional trips to Florida
  • Ability to travel and perform field duties for up to 50% of the working time
