Description

Create and maintain responsive React Native applications for iOS and Android
Develop reusable, maintainable, and thoroughly tested components and modules
Turn product requirements, visual designs, and wireframes into polished mobile experiences
Work with product, design, backend, and QA colleagues across the development lifecycle
Connect mobile applications to REST APIs and external services
Diagnose and fix performance bottlenecks, crashes, and platform-specific problems
Improve application speed, responsiveness, and reliability across iOS and Android devices
Help shape the mobile application's architecture and technical direction
Review code and uphold engineering standards and development best practices
Assist with App Store and Google Play release and distribution activities

Requirements

At least two years of professional experience developing with React Native
Strong command of JavaScript and TypeScript
Clear understanding of the iOS and Android mobile development lifecycle
Practical knowledge of React Native architecture, component design, navigation, and state management
Experience connecting applications to REST APIs and managing asynchronous data flows
Good grasp of mobile UI/UX principles and responsive layout techniques
Experience debugging, profiling, and optimizing React Native application performance
Familiarity with native iOS and Android concepts, including investigation of platform-specific issues
Experience using Git-based version control in collaborative development environments
Understanding of App Store and Google Play release procedures
Expo and EAS experience is a plus
Experience with push notifications, deep linking, and universal or app links is a plus
Experience with TestFlight, Google Play testing tracks, and mobile distribution is a plus
Experience building mobile CI/CD pipelines is a plus
Experience with crash reporting and monitoring tools such as Sentry or Firebase Crashlytics is a plus
Experience creating automated tests for React Native applications is a plus
Experience working with native modules or writing Swift or Kotlin code is a plus
