QA Technician I – Weekend Nights, Onsite in Allegan

Support quality investigations, defect containment, rework, and compliance activities for Perrigo’s self-care products. This full-time onsite role follows a weekend night schedule in Allegan, Michigan.

Description

  • Respond to quality events
  • Complete associated quality documentation
  • Establish immediate physical containment and remediation measures
  • Help identify, assess, and contain product or process defects
  • Conduct ASPs
  • Coordinate rework activities and issue rework instructions
  • Review relevant documentation as needed
  • Audit Perrigo’s manufacturing and packaging processes against applicable cGMP requirements
  • Work weekend night shifts from 6:30 p.m. to 6:30 a.m.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Two-year or four-year college education, or progress toward a degree, preferred
  • At least six months of experience in an FDA-regulated industry required
  • Two years of experience in an FDA-regulated industry preferred
  • Knowledge of cGMP principles and the ability to apply them
  • Working knowledge of standard operating procedures
  • Ability to give clear direction and interpret information accurately
  • Strong analytical abilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple deadlines
  • Ability to understand equipment operation and manufacturing and packaging processes; application materials must be submitted in English.
