Description
- Take AI features from initial prototype through production release
- Develop LLM and retrieval capabilities, including prompt design and evaluation
- Create pipelines and tools that support rapid, safe iteration
- Collaborate with product and design to find meaningful applications for AI
- Define standards for measuring and monitoring model performance
- Drive AI initiatives integrated into the core product
- Take ownership of AI feature behavior and the user experience it creates
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in Python
- Practical experience using PyTorch or TensorFlow
- A track record of delivering an LLM-powered product or feature used by real people
- A pragmatic approach to MLOps, including evaluation, versioning, and monitoring
- Confidence working independently through ambiguity and defining problem scope
- Ability to communicate technical trade-offs clearly to non-technical colleagues
- Production experience with retrieval-augmented generation is a plus
- Background in natural language processing is a plus
- Open-source contributions are a plus
