Processor Design Engineer – Karlsruhe Hybrid

Design next-generation general-purpose processors at Ubitium, a fabless semiconductor company. Work across cache, MMU, coherence, branch prediction, and verification structures.

Description

  • Design processor architecture across cache, MMU, multi-core and bus coherence, branch prediction, and debug and test structures
  • Use Verilog and SystemVerilog to develop processor designs
  • Implement AI and signal-processing applications in real hardware
  • Collaborate with computer architects, hardware engineers, and other engineering teams
  • Propose ideas and help shape technical areas and implementations

Requirements

  • Experience with at least one of the following: cache, MMU, multi-core or bus coherence, branch prediction, or debug and test structures
  • Strong Verilog or SystemVerilog expertise
  • RISC-V experience is preferred
  • Master’s degree or equivalent qualification
  • At least two years of hands-on experience in a relevant role
  • Willingness to relocate
  • Currently available for four days on-site and one day remotely; this policy may change
