Process Engineer Managing Consultant – Environmental Remediation, ERM

Lead environmental remediation engineering design and delivery for ERM in New Delhi. Oversee technical development, construction support, system performance, client coordination, and mentoring across complex projects.

Description

  • Lead engineering calculations, drawings, specifications, cost estimates, and technical reports for complex remediation projects
  • Provide technical direction across design, construction, startup, and operations while maintaining quality, safety, budget, and schedule goals
  • Troubleshoot, evaluate, and improve remediation system performance through effective engineering solutions
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers
  • Work with global project teams, clients, subcontractors, and regulatory agencies
  • Improve engineering standards, design quality, and consulting delivery efficiency
  • Direct design work covering data evaluation, calculations, process modeling, design development, cost estimation, specifications, and contract documents
  • Review and approve junior engineers’ deliverables while providing technical mentoring and quality assurance
  • Lead modeling and design for stormwater, soil stabilization, hydraulic, vapor treatment, groundwater treatment, and other environmental infrastructure systems
  • Plan and oversee field investigations, pilot tests, system evaluations, performance testing, and construction oversight
  • Coordinate project budgets, schedules, planning, and risks with project managers
  • Resolve technical issues with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and regulatory agencies to keep projects progressing
  • Maintain compliance with environmental regulations, engineering standards, and ERM quality requirements
  • Contribute to proposals, scopes of work, technical sales, and business development

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, or Chemical Engineering with a minimum 3.0 GPA
  • 4–10 years of relevant experience in environmental engineering, remediation design, environmental consulting, construction support, or related engineering disciplines
  • Experience leading engineering workstreams and coordinating multidisciplinary project teams
  • Strong knowledge of remediation technologies, environmental compliance programs, permitting requirements, and engineering design principles
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office and engineering software
  • Experience preparing and reviewing engineering drawings, technical specifications, construction documents, and technical reports
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, including sound technical judgment
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities while maintaining high-quality deliverables
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies
  • Strong safety commitment and experience applying health and safety requirements in field and construction settings
  • Engineer-in-Training certification or progress toward Professional Engineer licensure
  • Professional Engineer license or the ability to obtain one within a reasonable timeframe
  • Experience leading field programs, pilot studies, remediation system startups, and construction oversight
  • Experience with AutoCAD, AutoCAD Civil 3D, ArcGIS, and environmental data management platforms
  • Experience supporting global, multi-office, or shared-service delivery models
  • Experience applying automation, AI-enabled tools, or advanced analytical methods to engineering workflows
