Join Heraeus as a Process Development Engineer Co-op supporting process validation and advanced manufacturing for implantable medical devices. Analyze production data and help improve yields, throughput, and cycle times at the White Bear Lake site.

Description

  • Help develop and qualify processes and equipment that support higher throughput and new product introduction
  • Develop test methods for evaluating product performance
  • Assist with coil winding, polymer reflow, laser welding, and advanced assembly processes
  • Analyze process data and prepare technical documentation for engineering decisions
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives targeting yield, throughput, and cycle-time gains
  • Take part in process development team meetings and related activities
  • Adapt promptly as priorities change
  • Handle additional duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in mechanical, industrial, biomedical, manufacturing, or a comparable engineering program
  • Maintain a minimum 2.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale
  • Able to work full-time onsite throughout the co-op
  • Strong analytical ability
  • Demonstrated mechanical aptitude
  • Effective written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to work independently and contribute effectively as part of a team
  • Eager to apply academic engineering concepts to real-world work and continue learning
