Description
- Provide enterprise and divisional leadership for data visualization and analytical report development
- Support team growth and oversee the adoption of visualization best practices
- Deliver development and consulting support to data visualization users across the organization
- Own the creation, maintenance, and communication of data visualization governance and development standards
- Act as the strategic authority and chief architect for data visualization analytics solutions
- Evaluate complex business problems and opportunities, then prepare detailed specifications
- Serve as a technical resource for team members handling system issues, workflows, and procedures
- Conduct discovery and fact-finding to clarify assignments and guide execution
- Identify, communicate, and apply effective practices
- Partner with Data & Analytics leaders on strategic and tactical Tableau and data visualization decisions
- Coach junior team members and transfer knowledge of development best practices
- Architect high-performance, maintainable, and scalable data visualization solutions
- Lead cross-functional problem-solving sessions while incorporating stakeholder needs
- Report project status, escalate issues, communicate risks, and represent VizTeam priorities on cross-functional teams
- Support management-led employee development efforts, including training
- Provide guidance and assistance to junior staff
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or advanced degree, when required, or 10+ years of related experience in place of a degree
- At least 8 years of experience in a related field
- Demonstrated knowledge of Facets and healthcare claims processing
- Working knowledge of CMS guidelines
- Strong familiarity with fraud, waste, and abuse trends
- Big data experience
