Partner Technologist – United Kingdom (Onsite)

Lead strategic technology partnerships across Europe for Computacenter, connecting partner roadmaps with technology strategy. Develop customer propositions, portfolio opportunities, and go-to-market priorities.

Description

  • Serve as the primary technical liaison between Computacenter and strategic European partners
  • Evaluate partner strategies, technology roadmaps, and emerging capabilities
  • Align partner innovation with technology strategies, service-line direction, and go-to-market priorities
  • Find opportunities for partner capabilities to close portfolio gaps or support new customer propositions
  • Represent Computacenter at technical advisory boards, executive forums, QBRs, and strategic reviews
  • Contribute to European vendor segmentation and define strategic partner priorities and investment areas
  • Establish technical governance and coordinate activity for new and emerging partners
  • Evaluate strategic alignment and coordinate engagement across the business
  • Monitor disruptive market developments and emerging technologies
  • Convert technology insights into actionable opportunities for Computacenter and its customers
  • Guide partner capability development, including certification, accreditation, and enablement priorities

Requirements

  • Background in strategic partnerships, alliances, technology vendor management, technology strategy, portfolio development, or IT and managed-services business development
  • Broad enterprise technology knowledge, with the technical depth to engage technology leaders, assess product and platform roadmaps, and explain their strategic and customer impact
  • Strong commercial judgement for identifying customer value, portfolio gaps, and opportunities created by vendor innovation
  • Ability to engage senior internal and external stakeholders and influence teams, partners, and countries without direct authority
  • Excellent networking, relationship-management, and communication abilities
  • Collaborative, pragmatic, and proactive working style, with the persistence to advance opportunities through others
  • Vendor-neutral judgement for balancing partner, customer, business, and technology priorities
