Part-Time Legal Contracts Assistant – Onsite

Support ImageTrend’s SaaS contract-review process on a part-time, onsite basis. Extract and verify contractual terms, then record accurate data in Salesforce and Microsoft Excel.

Description

  • Review customer contracts and amendments to identify specified terms and obligations
  • Extract defined contract information using approved guidance and data definitions
  • Record contract terms accurately in Salesforce, Microsoft Excel, or other designated systems
  • Compare entries with source contracts and correct incomplete, inconsistent, or inaccurate data
  • Escalate unclear, missing, or conflicting language to the Legal & Compliance team
  • Keep organized records of reviewed contracts and completed work
  • Comply with confidentiality, information-security, and document-handling requirements
  • Report progress on assigned reviews and promptly raise issues that may affect accuracy or completion
  • Complete other assigned duties and tasks

Requirements

  • Be pursuing a Juris Doctor degree in good standing at an accredited law school, preferably with second-year standing or above
  • Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail, organization, and data-entry accuracy
  • Show interest in corporate, commercial, business, transactional, or technology law
  • Apply strong contract-reading and legal-comprehension skills
  • Communicate effectively in writing and verbally
  • Review large document volumes without sacrificing accuracy or consistency
  • Work independently within established procedures and escalate questions appropriately
  • Manage time, organize work, and prioritize competing tasks effectively
  • Use analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills
  • Use Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Preferably have experience with or familiarity with CRM platforms such as Salesforce.com
  • Handle proprietary and confidential information with discretion
  • Work in the office as required
  • Maintain good academic standing at an accredited law school
  • Participate in E-Verify to validate Form I-9 documentation
