Onsite Logistics Analyst, First Shift

Analyze warehouse and supply chain operations for GXO Logistics, developing reports, performance metrics, and cost-saving insights. Help improve productivity and operational efficiency during a Monday-to-Friday first shift.

Description

  • Develop operational analyses for services, projects, and broader business functions
  • Manage databases, extract information, and create metrics and scorecards to improve overall performance
  • Investigate performance and productivity data, error rates, and underlying causes
  • Examine reports to uncover operational issues across departments
  • Produce reports, graphs, charts, presentations, and supporting analysis documents
  • Use business systems and software to build and maintain reporting tools for decision-making
  • Conduct supplier and site waste walks to identify cost-saving opportunities for the improvement pipeline
  • Work Monday through Friday on the first shift, from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in logistics, business, supply chain, or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant work or military experience
  • At least one year of comprehensive supply chain or logistics experience
  • Advanced ability to prepare, import, and manipulate information in spreadsheets, databases, and presentations
  • Ability to transform raw data into usable formats
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, including Access
  • Ability to extract system data from SAP and use Excel and Access to create reports
  • Experience supporting warehouse management systems, order management applications, and database systems
  • Advanced Excel proficiency, including macro development
  • SAP experience is preferred
  • Strong data mining and development capabilities, including statistical analysis and query creation
  • Ability to develop solutions-oriented reports that improve operational efficiency and customer satisfaction
  • Basic understanding of warehouse operations and supply chain structure
  • Strong verbal and written communication, organization, and time management skills
  • Willingness to complete a pre-employment drug test if required
