Freelance analytics engineer supporting a manufacturing company’s transition from Dynamics 365 to modern ERP analytics. The role covers Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, Lakehouse, and S&OP reporting for improved planning visibility.
Description
- Shape the client’s Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process across sales, demand, supply, and inventory planning in a manufacturing environment.
- Work with business stakeholders to evaluate planning practices, identify gaps, and establish requirements, KPIs, and reporting priorities.
- Convert S&OP needs into analytical data models and Power BI dashboards for demand and supply balancing, inventory visibility, and plan-versus-actual analysis.
- Source and integrate Dynamics 365 and other business-system data into Microsoft Fabric to provide consistent planning inputs.
- Coordinate with the ERP implementation team to align analytics solutions with the processes and data structures introduced by the Dynamics 365 migration.
- Validate data and analytical results with business users, resolve discrepancies, and support adoption during recurring S&OP reviews.
- Design and build analytics solutions with Microsoft Fabric and Power BI.
- Develop and optimize data-processing workflows using Spark and SQL.
- Help implement Lakehouse and data warehouse architecture using Medallion Architecture across Bronze, Silver, and Gold layers.
Requirements
- Practical experience implementing or improving S&OP in manufacturing, covering demand and supply planning, inventory management, and sales-operations alignment.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric.
- Experience analyzing and modeling Dynamics 365 data.
- Strong proficiency in Spark and SQL.
- Working knowledge of Lakehouse, data warehouse, and data-modeling concepts.
- Experience applying Medallion Architecture across Bronze, Silver, and Gold layers.
- EU citizenship, preferably Lithuania.
- English proficiency at B2 level or above.
