Metrology Software Engineer – LabVIEW | Debrecen Hybrid
Emerson is hiring a metrology software engineer in Debrecen to automate precision measurement systems and develop LabVIEW drivers. The role supports NI hardware testing, production deployment, and engineering users.
Description
- Automate measurement procedures for high-precision instruments and develop LabVIEW drivers
- Resolve issues related to NI hardware test development and coordinate related tasks
- Deploy automated metrology procedures to production and continuously improve them based on user needs
- Collaborate closely with partner functions throughout development projects
- Support users and resolve issues during the rollout of new developments
- Help interns, technicians, and newly hired engineers develop their professional skills
Requirements
- University degree in electrical engineering or mechatronics engineering
- Knowledge of electronics and measurement technology
- Professional working proficiency in English
- Results-oriented personality with a willingness to learn and develop
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Initiative and openness to new approaches
- Knowledge of object-oriented programming is an advantage
- Experience with LabVIEW and TestStand is an advantage
- Professional experience in a related field is an advantage
- Experience in hardware test development is an advantage
- Knowledge of NI products is an advantage
