Description
- Build and maintain high-performance Order Management System features across Java backends and frontend components
- Partner with product managers and engineers to turn requirements into practical technical solutions
- Review code and reinforce standards for quality, usability, and performance
- Guide and mentor junior engineers
- Improve backend workflows and frontend experiences for scalability and low-latency performance
- Diagnose and resolve complex issues across frontend and backend systems
- Support feature planning, architecture discussions, and technical documentation
Requirements
- At least five years of professional software engineering experience
- Demonstrated strength in unit testing
- Strong JavaScript development capabilities
- Excellent problem-solving and execution skills
- Proven ability to conduct effective code reviews
- Ability to mentor team members as needed
- Availability to work in a hybrid arrangement
- Familiarity with the financial trading ecosystem
- Experience developing across the full stack
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related discipline
- Authorization to work in the United States; FactSet participates in E-Verify
