Junior Project Controller at Firstco – Hybrid UK

Support Firstco’s critical infrastructure automation and control systems projects as a Junior Project Controller. Contribute to project planning, commercial reporting, documentation, and performance monitoring.

Description

  • Support Project Managers by collecting data and maintaining accurate project records
  • Assess project commercial performance and highlight relevant information
  • Create and deliver clear project reports
  • Coordinate with Project Managers to keep project information current
  • Record project data in internal systems
  • Contribute to project plans and schedules
  • Maintain project programmes and measure progress against key milestones
  • Help forecast resource needs and plan resource allocation
  • Track labour, materials, and equipment requirements
  • Help produce project reports, dashboards, and performance measures
  • Track change-control activity and record impacts on scope, cost, and schedule
  • Help ensure work follows company procedures, client requirements, and quality standards
  • Flag schedule slippage, cost overruns, and resource limitations for escalation
  • Manage the receipt, distribution, and control of project documentation

Requirements

  • Previous Project Controller experience is not required
  • Strong written English skills
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Able to collaborate effectively and build positive team relationships
  • Careful, consistent approach to detail and quality
  • Highly organised and able to manage priorities, meet deadlines, and work methodically
  • Must have the right to live and work in the UK; visa sponsorship is unavailable
