Junior Motion Designer — Thinkingbox, Toronto (Hybrid)

Description

  • Create 2D and 3D animation for websites, social media, out-of-home activations, and standalone content
  • Develop visual styles and animation for a range of motion projects
  • Produce 2D and 3D assets for augmented reality applications
  • Create motion design for social campaigns and short animated films
  • Animate user interfaces for microsites and out-of-home activations
  • Build new skills and software knowledge through curiosity-driven learning
  • Stay current with design trends, visual art, and industry best practices
  • Provide accurate time estimates for assigned work
  • Resolve project obstacles with a practical, solution-oriented mindset

Requirements

  • Up to two years of experience at an agency or animation studio
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly After Effects
  • A portfolio demonstrating strong 2D and 3D graphic motion design
  • A demo reel or online portfolio showing breadth and nuance in motion work
  • Ability to respond constructively to direction and feedback
  • Ability to meet deadlines, collaborate with a team, and work independently when needed
  • Experience with Cinema 4D, Blender, Maya, or Redshift is advantageous
  • Applications must include a resume and links to an online portfolio
