- Build and maintain data-loading procedures and SQL data marts for reporting solutions
- Convert data into BI dashboards, visualizations, and reports
- Turn analytical and technical specifications into operational BI solutions
- Produce clean, maintainable, and testable code
- Contribute across the full IT delivery lifecycle, from estimation and design through development, documentation, testing, deployment, release, and post-release verification
- Document BI solutions and underlying data logic
- Provide technical expertise to business and product development teams and business analysts building BI solutions
Requirements
- Professional hands-on experience in IT development, with a clear understanding of how software and data solutions progress from requirements to production
- Strong SQL experience for reporting
- Experience creating BI reports and dashboards with Tableau, QlikSense, WebFOCUS, Looker, or comparable tools
- Solid understanding of relational databases, database design, and data warehousing
- Ability to work from structured requirements and technical specifications
- Effective communication skills
- Analytical approach with strong attention to detail
- Experience with agile development methods, including Scrum
- Banking-sector experience is an advantage
