- Build and maintain data-loading processes and SQL datamarts that support reporting solutions
- Convert data into BI dashboards, visualizations, and reports
- Turn analytical and technical specifications into practical BI solutions
- Produce clean, maintainable, and testable code
- Manage the full IT delivery lifecycle, including estimation, design, development, documentation, testing, deployment, release, and post-release verification
- Document BI solutions and the logic behind their data
- Provide technical expertise to business and product development teams and business analysts to support effective BI solutions
Requirements
- Professional, hands-on experience in IT development, with a clear understanding of how software and data solutions progress from requirements through production
- Strong SQL experience for reporting applications
- Experience creating BI reports and dashboards with Tableau, QlikSense, WebFOCUS, Looker, or comparable tools
- Thorough understanding of relational databases, database design, and data warehousing principles
- Ability to work from structured requirements and technical specifications
- Effective communication skills
- Analytical approach and careful attention to detail
- Experience using agile development methods such as Scrum
- Banking-sector experience is an advantage
