Intermediate AI Business Analyst – Montreal Hybrid

Intermediate Business Analyst helping improve Quebec healthcare processes through AI at Onepoint. Translates business needs into AI requirements, validates models, and supports Agile delivery.

Description

  • Assess business needs for opportunity evaluations and business case development
  • Map existing business processes and identify opportunities for AI-enabled improvement
  • Evaluate the feasibility and potential value of proposed AI solutions
  • Assess organizational impacts and the changes required for implementation
  • Convert business needs into functional and non-functional requirements
  • Contribute to AI model design and verify alignment with business objectives
  • Establish success measures and key performance indicators
  • Connect technical, clinical, and operational stakeholders
  • Take part in sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
  • Set expectations and report progress to stakeholders
  • Assist with user acceptance testing
  • Maintain compliance with Santé Québec standards and healthcare regulations
  • Help evaluate AI risks related to bias, ethics, and data protection
  • Work with security and compliance teams

Requirements

  • Fluency in spoken and written French
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, business analysis, or a related field aligned with the role’s responsibilities and requirements
  • MIFI equivalency assessment for degrees earned outside Québec
  • A master’s degree in business analysis or project management, or an Agile certification such as PMI or Scrum Product Owner, is an important asset
  • At least seven years of business analysis experience
  • Three years of experience managing Agile or Scrum projects
  • Participation as a business analyst in two complex technology projects within the past five years
  • Experience analyzing organizational impacts involving processes, roles, and operating models in a large organization
  • Requirements analysis and documentation experience
  • Business process modeling experience
  • Ability to write use cases and user stories
  • Experience with feasibility and organizational impact assessments
  • Requirements management and traceability experience
  • Knowledge of Agile methods, including Scrum and Kanban
  • Knowledge of UML and BPMN modeling techniques
  • Organizational change management experience
  • Risk analysis and mitigation skills
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office 365
  • Experience with collaboration tools such as Teams and Slack
  • Understanding of core artificial intelligence and machine learning concepts
  • Awareness of AI ethics topics, including bias, fairness, and explainability
  • Knowledge of data protection regulations
  • Experience with user acceptance testing for AI solutions
  • Healthcare sector experience is an asset
  • Legally authorized to work for any employer in Canada
