Installation Engineer II – Subsea, Hyderabad Onsite

Support offshore installation engineering for subsea structures, flowlines, umbilicals, risers, and mooring systems. Develop practical engineering solutions for TechnipFMC energy projects.

Description

  • Lead installation activities for subsea structures, flexible flowlines, umbilicals, risers, mooring systems, and related offshore equipment.
  • Prepare project missions and provide operational support to offshore crews.
  • Coordinate technical interfaces among clients, suppliers, offshore personnel, and design teams.
  • Develop engineering solutions within SSE project taskforces while meeting standards, procedures, schedules, and budgets.
  • Prepare technical documentation and preliminary studies for tenders and project execution.
  • Own installation engineering for one or more products on major projects.
  • Carry out engineering work supporting installation preparation and offshore execution.
  • Develop and approve procedures for validation testing, transportation, and installation, including calculation notes.
  • Provide technical input during procurement and report project progress to the Lead.
  • Support vessel mobilization and installation activities, validating technical solutions in accordance with HSEQ requirements.
  • Maintain compliance with project quality, cost, and schedule requirements.
  • Contribute to the development of computational engineering tools.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in offshore, civil, marine engineering, or a comparable discipline.
  • At least three years of experience in the offshore oil and gas industry, preferably in subsea work or an equivalent field.
  • Practical understanding of project preparation, coordination, and execution activities.
  • Strong spoken and written English skills.
  • Solid engineering fundamentals combined with the ability to coach others.
  • Project management capability.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
