Information Security Engineering Manager, IAM

Lead Wells Fargo’s enterprise Privileged Access Management modernization, securing human and non-human identities through CyberArk, automation, DevSecOps, and Zero Trust controls.

Description

  • Lead strategy for the enterprise Privileged Access Management platform
  • Set the vision, roadmap, and long-term direction for credential vaulting, session management, secrets management, and least-privilege access
  • Direct teams that protect privileged credentials and access paths for human and non-human identities
  • Modernize manually managed access models into automated, policy-driven, API-integrated solutions aligned with Zero Trust principles
  • Advance DevSecOps and automation through CI/CD integrations, secrets delivery, ephemeral credentials, and infrastructure-as-code enablement
  • Oversee vulnerability reduction and risk mitigation associated with privileged access
  • Collaborate with security architecture, IAM, cloud, infrastructure, and application teams
  • Manage engineers who design, implement, document, and support complex PAM solutions across CyberArk, secrets platforms, directory services, cloud IAM, and hybrid environments
  • Provide security consulting and design oversight for enterprise initiatives
  • Act as a subject matter expert on PAM technologies and industry practices
  • Lead investigations and response efforts for privileged access incidents
  • Ensure PAM controls support security, governance, monitoring, incident response, and business agility
  • Oversee resource planning, prioritization, and financial stewardship
  • Mentor, develop, and retain engineering professionals
  • Apply AI-assisted development and analysis tools to accelerate design, coding, testing, analysis, and troubleshooting
  • Review AI-assisted results for model limitations, security risks, and operational considerations
  • Ensure AI use meets security, compliance, privacy, and ethical standards

Requirements

  • At least five years of Information Security Engineering experience, or equivalent experience, training, military service, or education
  • At least two years of leadership experience
  • Experience using the CyberArk credential management system
  • Experience with agentic AI identity frameworks such as SPIFFE and SPIRE
  • Experience managing and developing high-performing Agile teams focused on Privileged Access Management, identity platforms, and security engineering
  • Strong understanding of DevSecOps patterns for privileged access, including secure CI/CD integration, automated credential delivery, secrets injection, and control enforcement
  • Hands-on knowledge of Kubernetes and cloud-native environments from a privileged access perspective
  • Proficiency with cloud and hybrid architectures that require secure privileged access
  • Ability to improve PAM engineering through automation, policy-driven access, observability, and standardized onboarding
  • Strong collaboration skills across IAM, security architecture, infrastructure, cloud, and application teams
  • Leadership experience in PAM platform engineering, including centralized vaulting, session management, secrets services, and self-service access models
  • Experience modernizing privileged access for legacy and internally developed systems
  • Demonstrated transformation leadership in establishing privileged access patterns, operating models, and Zero Trust-aligned controls
  • Expertise in PAM automation and CI/CD enablement, including policy-as-code, secrets management, credential rotation, and on-premises/cloud integration
  • Ability to define and deliver a cloud and platform readiness roadmap for privileged access
  • Ability to work on-site in one of the specified locations within a hybrid work arrangement
  • Must not require visa sponsorship
