GEICO Brand Merchandising Manager

Lead GEICO’s corporate merchandise program, including catalog strategy, vendor partnerships, special collections, and pop-up activations. Extend brand standards across offices, signage, wayfinding, and other physical environments.

Description

  • Lead GEICO’s merchandise program with its store platform partner, API
  • Define the strategic direction of the core merchandise collection
  • Manage special collections from intake through distribution
  • Collaborate with Hospitality, Supplier Management, Associate Experience, and Real Estate & Facilities Management on merchandise and site-branding initiatives
  • Own the GEICO Store catalog, assortment strategy, quality, and brand standards
  • Review catalog performance and determine additions, removals, and updates
  • Support inventory management, platform accuracy, replenishment, and stock issue resolution
  • Oversee intake and lifecycle management for event, milestone, onboarding, new-hire, learning and development, and leadership collections
  • Develop and maintain scalable trackers, playbooks, and workflows
  • Plan and deliver location-specific GEICO Store pop-ups at offices and events
  • Manage pop-up logistics, including inventory coordination, fulfillment, on-site setup, and post-event reconciliation
  • Support office and site branding initiatives involving signage, wayfinding, and physical brand elements
  • Act as the brand contact for Real Estate & Facilities Management site and facilities projects
  • Manage API vendor performance and relationships
  • Support vendor contracting, compliance, sourcing, estimates, pricing, and cost-quality decisions
  • Track program reporting and finances for catalog usage, fulfillment volumes, collections, and pop-up activity

Requirements

  • Five to seven years of experience in branded merchandise, marketing operations, procurement, or a related discipline
  • Experience owning a merchandise catalog, corporate store, or similar program
  • End-to-end ownership of a merchandise or gifting program, including assortment planning, vendor management, and production
  • Hands-on experience managing vendors through scoping, sampling, quality review, and delivery
  • Experience coordinating intake, timelines, and approvals among stakeholders in a matrixed organization
  • Ability to apply brand standards to physical settings, including signage, wayfinding, and office branding
  • Experience tracking budgets, purchase orders, invoices, and cost-quality tradeoffs
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications, hospitality, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience
  • Experience with procurement or inventory platforms is a plus
  • Experience with a company store, branded merchandise platform, or e-commerce gifting tool is a plus
  • Experience planning and delivering merchandise-focused events or pop-up activations is a plus
  • Experience with environmental branding, signage systems, or office and workplace design projects is a plus
  • Familiarity with brand standards and design approval processes
