Full-Stack Software Engineer (Java/Angular) – Madrid Hybrid
Build enterprise digital transformation solutions with Java and Angular in a hybrid Madrid role. The work covers REST APIs, relational databases, and incremental application modernization.
Description
- Build enterprise back-end systems with Java and application servers
- Design and implement RESTful APIs
- Work with relational databases
- Manage dependencies in Java and Angular projects using Maven
- Develop front-end features with Angular
- Use JavaScript build tools such as Gulp or Grunt
- Work with microfrontend architectures
- Use Git daily within collaborative teams
- Maintain and enhance large, long-lived codebases
- Modernize applications incrementally and safely
- Collaborate on digital transformation projects for clients
Requirements
- More than five years of professional experience
- Extensive experience with Java 8 or later
- Experience developing enterprise back-end systems with application servers such as WildFly, JBoss, or comparable platforms
- Strong experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs
- Experience with relational databases such as Oracle
- Experience using Maven and managing dependencies in Java and Angular projects
- Extensive experience with Angular 16 or later
- Experience with JavaScript build tools such as Gulp or Grunt
- Strong professional experience with Git, including daily use in collaborative teams
- Ability to work with large, long-lived codebases and carry out safe, incremental modernization
- Familiarity with Linux, including shell scripting and software packages
- Fluent English
- Knowledge of TypeScript and Bootstrap is valued
- Experience with microfrontend architectures is valued
