Full Stack Software Engineer - Dearborn Hybrid

Build responsive interfaces and cloud-native services for Ford Pro, Ford’s commercial vehicle and services business. Improve testing, performance, reliability, and fleet software solutions.

Description

  • Create high-quality, reusable code for dynamic user interfaces across multiple platforms
  • Strengthen testing frameworks, expand automation, and promote disciplined software craftsmanship
  • Deliver elegant, high-performance solutions for customers and partner engineers
  • Track and assess application performance and reliability
  • Work with cross-functional teams to develop commercial and fleet software solutions
  • Apply Test-First and Test-Driven Development practices
  • Develop and integrate cloud-native services with modern technologies and Ford enterprise systems

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • At least 3 years of front-end development experience
  • At least 3 years working with object-oriented languages such as Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, Kotlin, Python, or C#
  • At least 1 year developing and deploying applications on cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS, or Azure
  • Practical experience with modern relational and non-relational databases
  • Demonstrated ability to build web interfaces with React.js, Angular, JavaScript, and/or TypeScript
  • Strong debugging skills using contemporary development tools
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins and Terraform
  • Familiarity with end-to-end test automation frameworks
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States is required
  • Visa sponsorship is not available
