Description

  • Collaborate with colleagues to maintain reliable, consistent, and resilient enterprise administrative tools and services
  • Evaluate technical applications against Middlebury’s technology direction and client objectives
  • Work with a business analyst to identify process improvements and operational efficiencies
  • Help analyze information stored in relational databases
  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications for routine work
  • Support the preparation of technical specifications for system implementations and major institutional projects
  • Investigate features in new software and tools
  • Develop training resources and communications for workgroup managers
  • Prepare quality assurance plans and test client solutions

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent experience
  • Three to five or more years of experience in software development, data analysis, business management, technical project management, or another relevant technical field
  • Experience in higher education is preferred
  • Knowledge of enterprise resource planning, enterprise reporting, and enterprise database principles and practices
  • Strong communication and planning abilities
  • Experience creating presentations or other materials for communicating information
  • Demonstrable experience using a SQL variant
  • Ability to use standard office equipment and keyboards
  • Successful completion of a criminal background check and reference verification
