Full-Stack Developer, DevOps and Cloud Systems

Build BrightOrder’s AWS-based fleet logistics platform across applications, APIs, automation, CI/CD, and observability. Develop systems that support reliable fleet operations.

Description

  • Build and maintain full-stack applications, backend services, APIs, and internal tools.
  • Write maintainable code in Python, JavaScript or TypeScript, and Go.
  • Develop frontend applications and internal tools with React or similar frameworks.
  • Create REST APIs, integrations, and service-to-service communication.
  • Automate deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting tasks with scripts and internal tools.
  • Maintain CI/CD pipelines that support reliable software releases.
  • Configure and manage AWS services, including ECS, EKS, Lambda, EC2, RDS, S3, and CloudWatch.
  • Maintain and optimize PostgreSQL and Amazon Aurora databases.
  • Use RabbitMQ or similar tools for communication between services.
  • Package and deploy applications with Docker and Kubernetes or EKS.
  • Manage infrastructure as code with Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools.
  • Maintain monitoring, logs, alerts, dashboards, and observability practices using tools such as New Relic, OpenTelemetry, CloudWatch, Prometheus, or Grafana.
  • Work with Product, QA, DevOps, and development teams to deliver secure, scalable releases.
  • Use Jira Service Management or Jira Service Desk for issue tracking, escalation, production support, and coordination with QA, Customer Support, and Development.
  • Troubleshoot production issues, identify root causes, and improve system reliability.
  • Apply AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, or GitHub Copilot to development, testing, documentation, and troubleshooting.

Requirements

  • At least five years of professional development experience in full-stack, backend, DevOps, or cloud systems roles.
  • Proficiency in Python, JavaScript or TypeScript, and React or another modern frontend framework.
  • Experience designing and building backend services, REST APIs, integrations, and service-based systems.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS services such as ECS or EKS, Lambda, RDS, EC2, S3, and CloudWatch.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, Docker, Kubernetes, and Git workflows.
  • Database experience with relational and non-relational systems, including PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, and MongoDB.
  • Familiarity with RabbitMQ, Redis, microservices, serverless architectures, GraphQL, real-time messaging, or similar distributed systems technologies.
  • Experience with observability and monitoring tools such as New Relic, OpenTelemetry, CloudWatch, Prometheus, or Grafana.
  • Understanding of Linux, networking, application and cloud security practices, security reviews, and vulnerability management.
  • Experience creating tools or solutions for developers, operations, QA, customer support, or other internal users, including familiarity with Jira Service Management or Jira Service Desk workflows.
  • Exposure to SaaS, fleet management, logistics, telematics, IoT, or connected device environments.
  • Demonstrated use of AI-powered development tools for coding, documentation, testing, review, or troubleshooting.
