Frontend Developer (React, Next.js) — Poland Remote

Build responsive React and Next.js interfaces from approved designs and API contracts. Deliver tested frontend features and troubleshoot browser compatibility issues in a remote Poland-based contract role.

Description

  • Create reliable, responsive interfaces from approved designs and API specifications
  • Own feature delivery with minimal supervision
  • Investigate browser defects and fix cross-browser compatibility issues
  • Produce clean, reusable, maintainable, and thoroughly tested frontend code
  • Connect REST APIs while supporting loading, error, empty, and partial-response states
  • Translate Figma files and other visual specifications into accurate interfaces
  • Work within Git branching, pull request, review, and collaborative delivery practices

Requirements

  • 4–6 years of professional frontend development experience
  • Strong proficiency with React, Next.js, TypeScript, and hooks-based component architecture
  • Understanding of component lifecycles, effects, memoization, and techniques for avoiding unnecessary renders
  • Experience using Next.js, Vite, or a comparable modern frontend build framework
  • Experience with Zustand, Redux Toolkit, or a comparable state-management solution, including selectors
  • Advanced HTML5, CSS3, and SCSS skills covering responsive layouts, semantic HTML, and scoped styles
  • Working knowledge of accessibility practices such as keyboard navigation, focus control, and ARIA
  • Experience with IBM Carbon, Material UI, or a comparable design system
  • Ability to faithfully implement Figma designs and other visual specifications
  • Experience consuming REST APIs and supporting loading, error, empty, and partial-data states
  • Experience with polling, request cancellation or cleanup, and resilient handling of incomplete or unexpected API responses
  • Working knowledge of environment setup, package management, and frontend build workflows
  • Experience creating unit and component tests with Vitest or Jest and React Testing Library
  • Strong browser DevTools proficiency and experience diagnosing cross-browser problems
  • Working knowledge of Git branching, pull requests, code reviews, and collaborative delivery workflows
  • Ability to develop clean, reusable, and maintainable frontend code
  • Good understanding of secure client-side practices, including environment-variable handling and safe logging
  • Experience with animation tools such as GSAP, Framer Motion, or React Spring
  • Experience with Recharts, Chart.js, D3.js, Highcharts, or another charting library
  • Practical experience with Three.js, React Three Fiber, WebGL, or the HTML Canvas API
  • Familiarity with performance profiling, bundle analysis, lazy loading, and dynamic imports
  • Experience with internationalization tools such as react-i18next or next-intl
  • Experience using end-to-end testing frameworks such as Playwright
  • Familiarity with error boundaries, frontend monitoring, and CI/CD pipelines
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps
  • Experience working in an Agile environment with Jira and Confluence
